The events of Argentina are the topic at Austin. After having heard the riders' opinions, Lin Jarvis has also got involved in the debate, carefully analysing what happened.

Before getting into it, the Iwata boss comments on Uccio's behaviouor with Marquez: “On TV it wasn't seen but when I saw Puig, Marquez and the others in front of our garage, I gave them a sign, by crossing my arms, for them not to enter. At that point Uccio got involved. In a perfect work, we would have managed things better in the garage, but it was a tense situation and so that wasn't possible ”.

Calmly and clearly, the Yamaha number one recalls what happened at Termas de Rio Hondo: “There are two things to explain, the first is the irregular start by Marquez, the second what happened afterwards, that is the collision between Valentino and Marc”.

Jarvis continues:  “In reality, we did what was in our power, straight after the start, via a direct computer connection, we communicated with Race Direction, underlining the irregularity of Marquez's start and suggesting the black flag. Towards the end of the race, we asked for clarification of the situation regarding what happened in the race".

Messages that failed to get the desired response however: “unfortunately Race Direction told us they didn't read our messages, they were received but not read. We don't know why”.
