The events of Argentina have left various question marks, but Valentino Rossi's head is focused solely on the track. Despite recent goings-on, Valentino is optimistic: “I’m confident. I’m always happy to be in Texas. I like the atmosphere and the track. It hasn’t been a good start to the season, but in Austin I hope to do a good race."

The Yamaha hasn't forgotten the disappointment of 2017: “unfortunately I crashed at the beginning of the race, so this year I’m set on being able to stay ahead throughout the race, and above all being able to be on the podium. I really like the track and will try to give 100% as always”.
