The key word can be none other than consistency. Indeed, because at this season start, Ducati Pramac has shown that they are on the right path. Now the final exam before the season opener is represented by the three days at Losail, where Petrucci is aiming to pass with full marks: “This will be an important chance to sort everything – the Italian rider commented on the eve of the tests – so we’ll need to decide which bike to use for the race in terms of setup and at the same time we’ll do a race simulation on the second or third day. I would like to see what my condition is, since that will be fundamental.

So, the Losail track is the last chance to hone the weapons: “There will be two daytime test sessions and one night session – Danilo analysed – We’ll need to assess when the track will be the fastest.”

On the other side of the garage there are those who are chomping at the bit and that is the case for Jack Miller, who demonstrated great confidence astride the GP17: “I expect to find the same sensations as Sepang and Buriram – the Australian commented – I must say that the bike has not changed too much with respect to the season start.” The Pramac rider has clear ideas: “I’ll try to do as many laps as possible, working on braking – he concluded – I don’t have anything special to test, just continuing the direction we started at the previous tests.”
