Thirty-eight years, many of which spent on a bike for Valentino Rossi. Time passes for his rivals too, but they have indelible memories of their challenges. One of them is Andrea Dovizioso. The rider from Forlì, taking us on a stroll down memory lane, remembers the duel in 2008 at the Qatar GP. For the current Ducati rider, that represented his absolute début in MotoGP and finishing ahead of a tough customer like the rider from Pesaro by just 17 thousandths was a memorable moment.

Marc Marquez also remembers the rivalry with Rossi. The number 93 rider commented on the nine-time world champion's birthday: “I have good and bad memories with Valentino. He deserves congratulations for still being so fast at38. It is incredible.” The Honda standard-bearer has no doubts: “I think he is one of the favourites for the Championship.
