MotoGP: Iannone and Rins unveil a new fairing at Phillip Island

It's the day of new things on track at Phillip Island. This morning it was Aprilia that unveiled a new fairing, with Aleix Espargarò completing a couple of laps before returning to the garage. With just twenty minutes to go, Andrea Iannone did the same.

The Vasto rider was out on track with the Suzuki fairing, also available to his team-mate Alex Rins. As you can see in the photo, published on Twitter by our colleague Steve English, and from our image here alongside, the technical solution to come from Hamamatsu is very similar to that of their Yamaha colleagues.

The Suzuki also features a sort of 'double fairing', with integrated winglets. In contrast to the M1 though, on the GSX-RR these are positioned higher up, just under the front fairing.
