SBK: Final SBK calendar: Jerez returns

Just a few weeks before the championship gets underway, WorldSBK publishes its final calendar. Almost all dates have been confirmed and the vacant spot in October has been moved forward by one week, and filled. This will be the Jerez round in fact, taking place over the weekend of 20-22 October, the penultimate event of the season.

The opening round in Phillip Island is confirmed - 24-26 February as is the Qatari finale, with the races taking place on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 November).

The Italian fans can enjoy two rounds, fairly close together it must be said: the Superbikes are at Imola from 12 to 14 May and then at Misano from 16 to 18 June.

The calendars of the other categories are therefore also confirmed, with Supersport running on the same weekends as SBK - with the exception of Laguna Seca, while the Superstock 1000 and Supersport 300 classes will only race at the European tracks.

The first of the official tests will take place at Phillip Island on 20 and 21 February, just a few days before the start of the championship, followed by testing at Aragon on 3 April and at Portimao on 18 September.
