Torres in doubt for Portimao, De Rosa ready

The two-day test at Jerez didn't exactly go to plan for BMW. During Wednesday, Jordi Torres crashed, unfortunately injuring his shoulder and having to cut his testing short. Doctors at the medical centre have diagnosed a contracture to the shoulder blade and bruising to the right elbow

As well as the Spaniard, Marco Faccani, Althea's Stock rider, also suffered a crash which forced him to finish early. A pity considering that he was the fastest in his category on Tuesday.

As it waits to find out whether Torres will be able to continue testing this week, team Althea knows it can count on Raffaele De Rosa's support at Portimao. The Superstock1000 champion will shortly arrive at the Portuguese track and will be on hand until Sunday to assist with bike development work.
