Daily publication www.india.com has published a very interesting article regarding a new Royal Enfield. Known as the Continental GT, it will be the first twin ever to be built by the Indian company. The bike will be powered by a parallel twin engine, which will be somewhere between 50 and 60 hp.

It will make its debut in March/April 2017. The engine, developed entirely by Royal Enfield, at the United Kingdom Technology Centre, is designed to be used predominantly on the road and, with this Continental GT, will line up against "beasts" such as the Harley-Davidson Street 750, the Triumph Street Twin, the Moto Guzzi V7 and other bikes from the same segment. We know it is a Euro4 but we know nothing else. It's impossible to hazard a guess as to the price or anything else for that matter. The bike, in any case, boasts an attractive line... Time will tell.
