News: Be a kid again with Ducati at Mirabilandia

Ducati Motor Holding and Parques Reunidos, one of the biggest amusement park operators in the world, have signed an agreement to develop Ducati World at Mirabilandia.

Thanks to this partnership, Mirabilandia visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the exciting world of the Red bikes from Borgo Panigale, reaching new levels of adrenaline and thrills. Ducati World will be the first exclusively motorcycle themed area to be added to an amusement park in Italy. The project will cover an area of about 35,000 m2 and is scheduled to be open to the public by 2019.

The area of Mirabilandia dedicated to Ducati will include a new generation roller coaster that will make every visitor a Ducati rider, simulators, virtual reality and attractions for children. The project also foresees a showroom where visitors will be able to find the models which have made history and a Ducati shop where they can purchase apparel and accessories, as well as Ducati and Scrambler themed food areas.

“Ducati World will have the power to let visitors experience a thrilling journey within our brand - said Alessandro Cicognani, Ducati Licensing and Corporate Partnership Director - Thanks to the agreement with Parques Reunidos, we will develop the first motorcycle themed area in an Italian amusement park. The Mirabilandia location, in the heart of Motor Valley, adds further value to this fun project.”

Fernando Eiroa, Parques Reunidos CEO, said “this partnership will transform Mirabilandia, allowing the park to attract visitors from all over the world. Ducati World, set in the context of the strong Emilia-Romagna automotive tradition, will involve all motorcycle fans in an innovative experience thanks to the global strength of the Ducati brand and its local presence.”

“We are proud to be able to host a brand like Ducati in our park. This is a brand that represents passion and adrenaline for many Italians – values that describe the our guests’ experience every day very well - commented Riccardo Marcante, Mirabilandia General Director - Furthermore, this partnership will certainly also represent an added value for the territory where both Mirabilandia and Ducati were born.”
