MotoGP: Crutchlow: pleased with the 2018 Honda prototype

Crutchlow's role is becoming increasingly important for HRC and at Jerez, it was the LCR rider who continued with the development of the 2018 RC213V. With Marquez and Pedrosa already on holiday, the Brit didn't hold back and tried to provide the Japanese engineers with as much information as possible for use over the winter.

It was a tough and tiring day - he admits - but we managed to get a lot of positives and information for Honda on the new prototype bike. We now look forward to them assessing what they can bring forward for 2018, but we’re pleased to have completed the test here, I think it was very important to do it.

And Cal doesn't hide the fact that he's pleased to be so involved in the development of the bike.

“We had a lot of help from Honda and HRC here, the team did a great job and we worked hard over the two days. I was pleased with the pace on both bikes; my 2017 bike and the 2018 bike. Now we have to continue to work together in the off season – even though now is time for some rest – we will keep working to try and make the best bike possible to be competitive next season.”
