Marc Marquez makes it all look so simple, saving himself from a crash when he's already on the ground or winning 4 MotoGP titles in 5 years, or becoming the youngest ever rider to achieve 6. The day after celebrating at Valencia, Marquez the wonder-kid recounts his season in the video here above.

We had a difficult season - he confesses - in which it seemed like the obstacles we faced were as big as the Pyrenees. I'm here, but my team, my family and my friends played a key role in all this, without them this wouldn't have been so easy, enjoyable and wonderful”.

Marc is very young, but already has a long career behind him.

“I've learned so much in these years and still have a lot more to learn, but I hope I will always have the same enthusiasm for riding, the same passion that gives me energy and can be surrounded by the same people" he says.

The Spaniard retains his ‘cat’ nickname, for his ability to not crash.

Many tell me to put a cat on my helmet, but I don't really like cats - he laughs - Riding on the limit is part of my riding style, I've always said it, and hope that in the future people remember me for always giving it my all and putting on a show. People look at wins but the character and spectacularity are what make the difference. I remember riders who have won a title for their particular way of riding, rather than others who may have also won titles.

Now it's time for Marquez to enjoy a holiday.

“In the last two or three years I've never stopped but this time my body is telling me to relax. I will listen to it and see whether to take a couple of days or a couple of weeks holiday” he promises.
