MotoGP, Jack Miller: I'm having fun with the Ducati

The Australian immediately at ease on the red bike: "I'm surprised by its stability at the front and in braking, I think it suits my style"

MotoGP: Jack Miller: I'm having fun with the Ducati

If a good beginning makes for a good ending, then Miller can only be pleased. As he climbed on board team Pramac's Ducati, it was as if there was an immediate spark between the Australian and the red bike. Jack quickly moved up towards the front, “I'm 3 tenths from my fastest time set over the weekend” he gloats.

A good first take, we could say.

I'm having fun - he continues - I got on the bike and didn't touch anything, I just focused on riding and good lap times started to come. I also like the way of working in the garage, everyone's calm, I feel at ease”.

Miller says he hasn't asked fellow countryman Stoner for advice on the Ducati and is pleased with what he's found.

I had a good sensation along the straight - he smiles, thinking about the Ducati's speed - I expected a bike with good traction but I was really surprised by the front. The Ducati is really stable in braking, I still have to understand the limit. I like how it enters the corners and think it turns well”.

This is not an opinion we often hear in reference to the Desmosedici, but Jack seems to have found a bike that suits his riding style.

It's simply different to what I was used to. It's less jumpy, wheelies less and this allows me to focus on riding... and then with used tyres I was able to do some great sliding - he jokes - Now I just have to continue to adapt to the bike, I need more time but am already very happy”.
