The 2017 season won't come to an end for Yamaha until the end of this month. After Valencia, the team will take part in a second test, taking place at Sepang on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 November. Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales will be back on their M1 bikes along with the Tech3 riders Johann Zarco and Jonas Folger (depending on the latter's state of health) as was also the case last year.

Last time around the two-day session was conditioned in part by bad weather, so they hope for better conditions this year. At the last Malaysian race, the Doctor and the Spaniard complained about the M1's lack of grip in the wet, which caused them to finish thirty seconds from the front. An aspect to focus on with the new bike, so as not to be unprepared.

Three days after the Sepang test, Valentino will be at the wheel of the Ford Fiesta WRC at the Monza Rally Show, the event that traditionally rounds off the season at the Italian track.
