SBK, Jordi Torres with MV Agusta in 2018

OFFICIAL - The Spaniard will take up the baton from Leon Camier, with the Brit moving to Honda

SBK: Jordi Torres with MV Agusta in 2018

2018 will bring various changes, regarding not just the regulation but also rider line-ups. As we already know, Leon Camier will be the new Honda rider with team Ten Kate, while Jordi Torres will take up the Brit's baton by moving to the Schiranna manufacturer.

Losail therefore marks the Spaniard's last appearance on the BMW of team Althea. An MV Agusta adventure then awaits him as of the winter tests: “I'm really excited to embark on this adventure with Team MV Agusta Reparto Corse – he stated – in recent seasons I've noted the growth of the F4 RC and I'm convinced that the team and I will be able to do great things in 2018. I thank Andrea Quadranti, Giovanni Castiglioni and the whole team for putting their trust in me. I can't wait to test the bike over the winter.”

With Torres the new MV rider, it remains to be seen where Loris Baz will place next season, his name having been linked to the Italian squad in the past. At the same time, Genesio Bevilacqua will also need to replace the Spaniard. Time is ticking...
