On Friday morning the factory derivative engines will once more roar to life and they will do so in Jerez de la Frontera, in Andalusia, for the final European round, the penultimate of the 2017 season.
Among the various changes, in Spain we will have the chance to admire the new GSX-R in action, the Superbike from Hamamatsu that has done very well in the various national championships (in MotoAmerica Tony Elias took the title, in BSB Sylvain Guintoli won a race) but which has not yet touched rubber to a World Superbike track.
As reported by Speedweek.com, it will be Swiss rider Dominique Schmitter, who had already raced in 2016 astride the Grillini Kawasaki, to ride the Japanese 4-cylinder in its début and he will do so thanks to the German HPC Suzuki team, with whom he raced in the IDM series season.
