The new red bike benefits from an exceptional test rider. Development work on Ducati's brand new Panigale V4 S supersport with 4 cylinder engine continues... A bike that marks an historic turning point for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer in terms of its production series and one that is therefore being prepared with the utmost attention. In addition to Michele Pirro and Alessandro Valia - the test riders who are making a precious contribution to the development of the new V4 - there is also Casey Stoner who, during the course of today (Tuesday), completed numerous laps with the new bike.

The Australian talent flew to Valencia on Monday to help Pirro with the development of Lorenzo and Dovizioso's Desmosedici GP17, as well as that of the future Bolognese sports bike (as shown in the photo), which will be officially presented on Sunday 5 November in Milan and that will, as of 2019, be tasked with replacing the glorious twin-cylinder Panigale in SBK. The former world champion has therefore got a lot of work on his plate, and will be back on track again tomorrow.
We already know all about the 1100 engine that the V4 S will use and you can read all about its technical characteristics HERE, while to get more of an idea about the bike's performance, head HERE.
