Bad weather didn't just condition Sunday's race at Misano, but it also affected the tests that some teams had planned yesterday at the Italian track. Aprilia, Suzuki and Honda (present with test rider Aoyama) hoped to make the most of the day but rain put paid to their plans

Aleix Espargarò completed only a few laps on the RS-GP before returning to Spain, Aoyama rode the Honda in the wet, while Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins remained in the garage, so as not to waste one of the very limited number of test days permitted by the regulation.

Sylvain Guintoli rode the Suzuki for about fifteen laps in the wet and the test rider is at Misano again today. For the factory riders, keen to test the new parts arriving from Japan, there was no hope. Also because the forecast for today is not good either.

At this point, the next opportunity to test ride the new material will be at Aragon. Iannone and Rins will definitely test for at least one day after the Grand Prix, perhaps even two.
