With his Moto2 season having come to a premature end after he and team AGR parted ways, a new challenge in the World Endurance championship now awaits Yonny Hernandez. The Colombian rider will be part of the factory Honda team and will race in the Bol d’Or, one of the most famous 24 hour races, taking place at Paul Ricard from 15-17 September.

Yonny will ride the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2 alongside Gregory Le Blanc and veteran rider Sébastien Gimbert and has already had chance to test it at the French track.

It has been a new experience for me because everything is new, so I just focus on finding a good rhythm - explains Hernandez - The bike is so different but I’m happy because I have this opportunity to ride in the 24 hours."
