The Circuit of Wales soap opera has come to an end and it was not a happy ending. For the new track, which has been talked about for at least 4 years, not even one brick has been laid and after delays, reassurances and changes, now the we have the certainty that the track will not be built.

Dorna CEO Dorna Carmelo Ezpeleta confirmed for MCN that in 2014 he had signed 10-year agreement with the Circuit to organise the GP of Great Britain. The contract was cancelled because the Circuit of Wales will not be built and the British round organiser will also be changed.

Ezpeleta revealed that there are negotiations underway both with Silverstone and with Donington.
