Summer, sun, sea and... a few days on track. The Honda and Ducati Pramac riders will go from the beach to the track next week before returning to their holidays and then restarting the second part of the season in early August at Brno.

The Czech track has been selected as the HRC test bench. Marquez and Pedrosa will be on track on Monday and Tuesday, a chance to prepare for the Grand Prix taking place two weeks later but also an opportunity to improve the RC213V.

The Japanese bike, which has a new engine this year, is not yet perfect and both riders have complained about a lack of stability through the fast turns. At Brno, far from prying eyes, they may carry out some tests that will prove useful ahead of the final phase.

Petrucci and Redding can at least relax on the beach in the evening, as Pramac has opted for Misano for its test. The track is booked from Tuesday to Thursday but the team only intends to test over two days, selected depending on the weather.

For the Pramac riders these are the first totally private tests of the season, and Danilo Petrucci will probably carry out some tests for Ducati on the GP17.
