When MotoGP goes on holiday, it's all about the love… of sport

Jet-skiing, trekking, cycling, windsurfing, but there are also those who spend time with their partners, this is how the riders spend their holidays

MotoGP: When MotoGP goes on holiday, it's all about the love… of sport

Summer, holiday time, sun, sea, relaxation and also love. The bikes have stopped and so the stars of the world championship take the opportunity to switch off and recharge their batteries ahead of the Brno round on 6 August. The riders' preferred destination is undoubtedly Spain. Marc Marquez is enjoying his championship lead in Andalusia, just like one year ago, but this time he has only a slight advantage over his opponents, and so he has to stay alert.

It's a different matter for Jorge Lorenzo, who's had a less than satisfactory season start and is ready to step up his training ahead of the Czech round. The Majorcan is spending time on Formentera along with his close friends, including manager Albert Valera and DJ Nicky Romero. He took the opportunity to take a selfie in the Balearics with beautiful Brazilian model Michelly Sander. A photo that won't go unnoticed by the gossip lovers, who are ready to bet on a love story between the two.

Andrea Iannone is also in good company, in Ibiza with his inseparable Belen. No pictures have yet been taken of the pair together but we prefer not to listen to the rumours of a suspected break-up. Right now, The Maniac's Suzuki is parked up in the garage, but he can't do without the speed, choosing a jet-ski in this case. Also in Ibiza, with his girlfriend Carlota, is Pol Espargaro, pictured at the Lion bar. Brother Aleix prefers to take care of his dogs, and enjoy walks with wife Laura. Lorenzo Baldassarri is also spending time with his girlfriend.

And what about Andrea Dovizioso, so strong this season with the Ducati. The Italian cuddles daughter Sara while introducing her to some jet-skiing. We're sure she won't be bored spending time with her dad!

Then there are those who can't keep still, Dani Pedrosa being a case in point. The Honda rider has always loved cycling and so here he is riding around the Swiss mountains. The Tour de France is also taking place right now; perhaps the Spaniard will head over that way for a ride.

Tom Luthi also makes an appearance, busy windsurfing. And Valentino? We have no idea, but we're ready to bet that he'll spend at least a few days in Ibiza.
