A 69-mile ride in memory of Hayden

"Ride for Nicky" took place in California, with the aim of raising money for the Nicky Hayden Memorial Fund

News: A 69-mile ride in memory of Hayden

More than 100 cyclists have taken part in an event in memory of Hayden, which took place in Orange County in California. “Ride for Nicky”, the name of the event, involved a charity cycle ride, starting from Irvine and concluding at Laguna Beach, over a total distance of 69 miles, as a tribute to the Kentucky Kid's race number.

The aim was to raise money for the Nicky Hayden Memorial Fund.

“It was really special to see all these people come out and support an event like this" - said Nicky’s brother Tommy - It’s definitely something I think Nicky would’ve been proud of and it has meant a lot to our family"
