SBK, Max Biaggi has undergone thoracic drainage

The Corsair is doing well, but an increase of air in the right pneumotorax required the surgery

SBK: Max Biaggi has undergone thoracic drainage

Max Biaggi is still in intensive care at the San Camillo Hospital of Rome after his crash in Latina while training on a Supermotard bike at the Sagittario circuit.

The following update was released a few moments ago by the thoracic surgery team.

“Max Biaggi’s clinical condition is in evolution. The radiology exams conducted during the morning showed an increase of air in the right pneumothorax. Thoracic drainage has been positioned. The operation was carried out with perfect results.”

"The vital signs - the update continues - continue to be satisfactory at the moment. Multi-parameter and radiological monitoring continue, as well as non-invasive support procedures for respiratory activity. The prognosis remains reserved."

The next medical update will be tomorrow morning.
