BMW R nineT Urban G/S: "The Spirit of a Legend"

BMW Motorrad has a racing history, especially in the world of rallying, to make anyone envious. Does Hubert Auriol mean anything to you? The French rider won the Dakar twice, once in 1981 and again in 1983. On what bike? A BMW of course! What better ambassador to promote the new BMW R nineT Urban G/S? Yes OK, it's "urban", but the colours and its name transport you straight back in time...

The video stars the bike, of course, and the legendary French rider. There's a beautiful girl too (Joy Lewis), who meets the legend in his home, which houses many racing mementoes from helmets to various trophies. A few seconds later and the two are catapulted to Senegal. Auriol narrates his story, while images from that era engage the viewer.
