MotoGP, Open the dams: weather alert at Termas de Rio Hondo

The photo you can see here was taken close to the Termas de Rio Hondo track and is the result of torrential rain that has hit Argentina over the last few days.

Storms have caused flooding in many areas around the track and many dams have been opened to prevent the rivers from flooding, just like the one shown in the image. The situation is now back to normal and we hope the rain has passed.

The forecast ahead of the Grand Prix is not the best though and it seems there is a chance of rain on Saturday, with some showers already from Friday evening, while on Sunday conditions should be better.

All the riders can do is keep an eye on things and prepare for another uncertain weekend, just as they had to do in Qatar.
