SBK, The Superbikes back on track at Aragon

A test day at the Spanish track, with all top teams taking part in two four-hour sessions

SBK: The Superbikes back on track at Aragon

A fifth win for Rea, but also the first for Davies. This is how the Aragon Superbike weekend turned out, but today it's already time to get back no the bike, because riders are back on the Motorland track for testing today.

All SBK teams are present and correct. Rea and Sykes will be working on the chassis, #66 pointed out that they need to work on the ZX-10R particularly in terms of corner entry, an aspect that he struggled with over the weekend.

In the Ducati camp, Marco Melandri will be building confidence with the front of the Panigale, while Chaz Davies will focus on pace, making some long-runs. Attention will be on Honda, that has struggled so far this season. The Fireblade SP2 hasn't yet met with expectation, and something needs to change. For Nicky Hayden and Stefan Bradl there's no time to lose.

Let's not forget Aprilia that's had an uphill climb so far. As well as the bikes, injury for Lorenzo Savadori has further complicated things, with him forced to sit out the Motorland races.

BMW and Yamaha are also on hand. The R1 needs to take a step forward if Lowes and van der Mark are to be able to fight for the podium.

The first four-hour session kicks of at 9am, followed by a second session this afternoon.
