Moto3: Rodrigo has surgery, will try to race in Argentina

The new season didn't get off to the best of starts for Gabriel Rodrigo, the team RBA BOÉ rider crashed during the first free practice sessione in Qatar, fracturing his right collarbone. Having returned to Barcelona, Rodrigo underwent surgery, performed by Doctor Xavier Mir.

Gabriel has already begun rehabilitation and his physical condition will be evaluated in Argentina, where circuit doctors will decide whether or not he can race.

"Rodrigo underwent surgery for a displaced fracture of the right collarbone - explained Doctor Mir - It has been reduced and fixed with a titanium plate and six screws".
