More rain, MotoGP 6 PM session cancelled

It is a Saturday full of unknowns at Losail because the difficult weather conditions have complicated the schedule in no small way. Due to the rain that had fallen on the Qatar track, this morning Race Direction had decided on an extra twenty minute session for the premier class, scheduled for 6 PM local time so that each rider could test in the wet.

After an attentive survey of the conditions, however, the decision was made to cancel the extra session due to streams of water on various sections of the track. Given the adverse weather conditions, Race Direction is evaluating how long to delay the format for MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3.
