We'll be far from bored over the first weekend of April. The SBK will take on round three of the season at Aragon, while at Donington the curtain will go up on the BSB championship. A year full of new things, and one in which we'll have an Italian on the starting line. We're talking about Davide Giugliano, all set to go with team Tyco BMW.

As he awaits the start of the season, the Italian has carried out a series of tests in Spain, to build confidence with his new bike. He took the opportunity to make a brief comparison between the BMW and the Panigale: “Right away I had good sensations with this bike – the rider told MCNit's very different to the Ducati and I have to say I get on better with it”.

His impressions while testing at the Cartagena track were positive. There's one particular aspect that encourages him: “Riding without electronics better suits my style – he revealed – I feel fast, unfortunately with the Ducati I didn't have the right confidence while on track. Now I am riding the bike, while before I was mounting it".
