Last week he was hard at work in Qatar, taking part in the final tests ahead of the new season. With Losail behind him, Andrea Iannone gave himself a day off, and time to relax at... Gardaland! The Maniac got to test the theme park's new attraction, SHAMAN, the rollder coaster with virtual reality.

A memorable experience for him: “I really didn't expect a roller coaster to be able to provide this effect –he revaled - it was really like riding on the back of an eagle, something incredible that I'd never experienced until now”.

In less than ten days he'll be back on the bike. Expectations are high for his race with the Suzuki: “It's never easy to live up to expectations, but I think we have strong chances, despite the work still to be done – he commented - at this part of the season it's not easy to make any predictions”. Iannone has clear ideas though: “My aim is to always be among the top riders – he explained - in the last two years I was always there and I hope to do the same in 2017, of even better in fact”.

The competition is stiffer than ever. As well as Marquez, Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa, this year there's also Vinales ready to fight for the title: “It will be a fun but tough season – he added -my rivals are strong, but this makes it all the more interesting, especially for those watching at home. I hope to be able to make myself and the team happy”
