Moto3: Kornfeil and Pulkkinen throw down the gauntlet with Peugeot MC SAXOPRINT

Final presentations for the Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing teams before the official season opener. Yesterday it was Aprilia's turn and this morning it was time for Peugeot MC SAXOPRINT. The German team chose Dresda, headquarters of their main sponsor, as the backdrop to raise the curtain on the 2017 season.

A revamped team that has decided to rely on the experience of Jakub Kornfeil, present since 2009 in Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing and the author of two podiums thus far, a second place at Silverstone and a third place in Valencia. Alongside him will be rookie Patrik Pulkkinen, 2014 winner of the European Moriwaki 250 Junior Cup. Last season, on the other hand, he finished the Red Bull Rookies Cup in fourteenth place.

Now the German team will have a stop in Jerez for the last IRTA test ahead of the Championship opener. The event will take place from 8 to 10 March.

Alongside Kornfeil and Pulkkinen was also Freddie Heinrich. The young Saxon rider who is only 12 years old will be at the start of Moto4 in the Spanish Championship with the support of team Peugeot MC Saxoprint.
