Casey Stoner's star shone once more today at Sepang, but his work in Malaysia is not yet done. Having put his stamp on this 2017 season start, beating everyone in terms of lap times, the Kangaroo will rest up tomorrow before getting back on the Desmosedici on Wednesday, for the last day of testing.

Today was a positive day, and the best thing is that we a lot of time to ride in dry conditions - commented Stoner - Over the last days, during private testing, we were conditioned by the rain because the track takes a long time to dry and so we had very little time to carry out our work. Today is was great to have ideal track conditions and be able to make some fast laps right away, confirming the positive sensations we had over the last days and defining the direction to take. It's a pity that it started to rain two house before the end, but when we get back on track in two days' time we'll be able to continue with the work, moving forward with bike development and concentrating on the chassis”.
