MotoGP, Rossi and the kicked fan: proceedings dropped

Rossi and the kicked fan: proceedings dropped

The Spanish Court of Requena dropped the proceedings filed against Valentino Rossi by the fan struck by a kick in the Valencia paddock. The video of the incident that had gone viral on social media showed the Doctor astride a scooter who, trying to avoid the crowd of fans, bumped up against a woman intent on taking a selfie.

The fan had decided to take legal action against Rossi, but the judge dropped the proceedings because in the charges filed, the type of aggression suffered was not specified. As the Spanish media reports, the woman only referred to Valentino's 'bad manners', without specifying that she was struck by a kick or insulted.

For this reason, the report does not indicate anything that could constitute a crime.
