Marquez-Baker Super duel in Barcelona

It's too good an opportunity to miss, but Marc Marquez is aware that it won't be as simple as it might sound, because his adversary is a tough one. In Barcelona, the spotlights are all set to shine on the fourth edition of the Superprestigio, the traditional end-of-season dirt track event taking place tomorrow at Palau Saint Jordi.

The Spanish Honda rider wants to end 2016 on a high, having already secured his fifth world title this season. Winning the Superprestigio would be the icing on the cake, but standing in his way is Brad Baker.

The American champion already beat him in the last two editions and now seems set on doing it again. Despite being the outright favourite, the US rider has no intention of lowering his guard: “I know this will be another hard battle, Marquez will make my life difficult. He gives his all on any bike and is always very fast”.

Marc, who took part in an Enduro race one week ago, unfortunately finishing in a gorge, reveals the secret to beating his rival: “He is one of the fastest, best riders and so I need to be perfect”.

Also on track is Italian rider Fabio Di Giannantonio.
