Rossi and Sanchini win the 2016 EnduRanch

The EnduRanch is a winter classic for Valentino Rossi and his friends and riders of the VR46 Riders Academy. This year's race, with riders competing in pairs on dirt bikes, took place last Sunday at the Tavullia track, as is tradition

It was the ranch owner himself who snatched the win in the latest edition, in a competition inspired by the world of endurance. The Doctor, paired up with Mauro Sanchini, reached the highest step of the rostrum, or rather the wooden logs that represented it.

DNA is clearly not to be underestimated, with the silver medal going to his brother Luca Marini, teamed with Filippo Fuligni. Third place for another Fuligni, in the shape of Federico, who raced together with Francesco Bagnaia.

The race went on into the late evening with the moon providing the backdrop to the podium,  where riders celebrated with the 2016 trophy in hand.
