Compartment syndrome: Davies undergoes surgery

Riders often make the most of the winter break to carry out some essential maintenance… on themselves. This week Rea has undergone surgery for solve a compartment syndrome problem (increasingly common among riders) and now Chaz Davies has done the same.

The Ducati rider had already scheduled surgery to remove a plate in his left wrist, left from an accident dating back to 2012. While 'on the table' so to speak, he also took the opportunity to get his right forearm operated on too, seeing how it gave him problems throughout the year.

Both the operations were successfully completed without any complications and Chaz, after a couple of weeks rest, will be ready to get back to his training and prepare for the new season.
