SBK, Meniscus injury for Melandri, will undergo surgery

Marco Melandri injured his meniscus yesterday during the Rombo del Cuore match, a charity event organized in memory of Doriano Romboni, in Cattolica. The Ducati rider injured his knee while he was simply walking on the pitch.

Truly unfortunate for the rider from Ravenna, who had just returned from the tests in Jerez on the Panigale. Dr Fabio Catani will operate on him tomorrow at Modena Polyclinic.
