At Valencia Marquez celebrates a record 150 GPs

On 13 April 2008, Marc Marquez made his first Grand Prix appearance at the Portuguese GP in Estoril. Nine years and five World Championship titles later, the Repsol Honda rider will celebrate his 150th Grand Prix this weekend in Valencia.

But it's not the anniversary itself that is surprising, rather his achievements in 125cc, Moto2 and MotoGP. As you can see in the graph above, Marquez has accumulated 55 wins (37% of races entered), 89 podiums (60%), 65 pole positions (44%) and 50 race fastest laps (34%).

There's no denying that these numbers are enough to make your head spin.
