A cut elbow and contusion to his calf are the only injuries that Jorge Lorenzo sustained after the bad crash in FP3 at Motegi. The Majorcan returned almost immediately to the paddock after having been transferred to Utsunomiya hospital for further tests, including a CAT scan of his head.

These tests ruled out any complications and circuit doctors have given him to the OK to continue the race weekend.
