MotoGP, Silverstone uncertain for Miller, Hayden may stand in

Silverstone uncertain for Miller, Hayden may stand in

It is still uncertain whether Jack Miller will take part in the Silverstone GP.  The Australian hurt himself during free practice in Austria, fracturing a vertebra and today he is having further medical tests to establish whether he's able to ride his Honda this weekend.

Right now it's not known whether he'll race or not, but there is a first-rate replacement already in the paddock if need be. Nicky Hayden is already at Silverstone as he has commitments with Honda Europe, but he may well be ready to get his leathers on and climb aboard the MotoGP of team Marc VDS.

Just a hypothesis, but not an impossible one. First we need to see the results of Miller's tests, then we'll find out if we'll see the American world champ back on a MotoGP.
