Out of danger: no fracture for Smith

Bradley Smith is out of danger at Oschersleben. The Team Tech3 rider, who was taking part in the Oschersleben 8 Hours, crashed during the free practice session. There was initial concern that he had perhaps fractured his femur and so the Brit was transported to hospital by helicopter.

Luckily, further tests have excluded any fractures, according to a Tech3 team spokesperson. Bradley has suffered a deep cut having hit the bike in the fall, but the situation appears a lot less serious than first thought.

We will provide an update as soon as we have more information.
