This Wednesday at Misano, Sam Lowes will have the chance to try a MotoGP bike for the first time. In fact, a day of testing has been organised for the team Gresini rider on the Aprilia RS-GP that he will ride in his top category début next year. For the Brit this will be his first contact and he will probably use last year's bike and not the most updated model.
The agreement between Aprilia and Lowes had already been signed last year and his spot on the team for 2017 is already confirmed. Alongside him in the garage will be Aleix Espargarò. There has still been no official announcement on a contract between the Noale-based manufacturer and the Spaniard, but an agreement has been reached.
This means that both Bautista and Bradl will need to find a team. Alvaro would like to stay in MotoGP and is already knocking on the Aspar team's door, where he would find a Ducati. For Stefan, on the other hand, the options would be to move over to SBK or back to Moto2.
