Moto3, Webb replaces Hanika on the Mahindra

The collaboration between Karel and the Platinum Bay Real Estate team comes to an end, Danny will be on board from Assen

Webb replaces Hanika on the Mahindra

After 7 races - and not even one point scored - Karel Hanika and the Platinum Bay Real Estate have decided to go their separate ways. The former Rookies Cup winner was hired by the new team at the start of the season, leaving KTM after two years in the world series with them to move across to Mahindra. Unfortunately results did not meet with expectations and the team has decided to replace him with Danny Webb as of the Assen Grand Prix.

The Brit knows the world championship well, having made his 125 debut in 2007 before racing up until 2013 in Moto3, when he was let go mid season by team Ambrogio. During the same year he also took part in 4 Supersport races on a Honda. Over the winter he completed some tests on the Mahindra, a bike he knows very well.
