Viñales: Lorenzo can't say anything about me and Rossi

This time Vinales was caught in the middle, accused of a presumed agreement between him and Valentino in qualifying. A strategy where he actually would have had the short end of the stick because Rossi, thanks to his tow, will start from the pole at Mugello.

“It’s not the first time that I have happened to go out on the track with Valentino during the qualifiers. The reason is that we wait to start in order to avoid being with the other riders”, explained the Suzuki rider who brought home an excellent second place.

To stay out of traffic?
Exactly. When I am in a group, with too many riders around, I find it more difficult to concentrate. That’s why I wait before leaving the garage. Usually I prefer not to have anyone in front of me, but today I happened to find Rossi.”

Lorenzo thinks it was a planned strategy...
Well then he did the same thing with Iannone, who made his time behind him. He really can’t say anything about me and Rossi. Each of us needs to think about himself.

Let’s talk about the race. How do you feel?
Very good on the bike and I have my team to thank for that. I know that there will be a lot of strong rivals and the Ducatis are really fast, but I showed that I have a good pace.
