Bikes with wings: no longer just a fashion

Only Aprilia and Suzuki were missing from the MotoGP 'wings club'. The GSX-RR and the RS-GP have put an end to this at Jerez by presenting their own version of the aerodynamic appendage that is gaining converts this season.

And while the Italian bike boasts two 'Ducati style' spoliers with two wide winglets applied to the upper part of the fairing, in what appears to be the cleanest zone aerodynamically-speaking and thus the most effective, the GSX-RR gives us its own take on the accessory by having not two, but three!

They may not be especially wide, like those of the Ducati and the Yamaha, but, particularly with regard to those positioned on the belly of the fairing, they have been seen before, considering how Suzuki had something similar on Barry Sheene's bike.

So basically nothing really new...
