Designed, developed and built in Italy, Aprilia Tuono 125 offers the younger rider, but also enthusiasts of smaller engine capacities, the best they can find in terms of design, construction, components and technical features. The line is unequivocally inspired by that of the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100. A bike with an extremely strong personality, a true naked but with an aggressive spirit that boasts a wide and high handlebar. The line of the new Tuono 125 is strongly characterised by the headlight which, as is the case for its big sister, the Tuono V4, gives the bike a decidedly original and attractive look.

CHASSIS ARCHITECTURE - The Tuono 125's chassis is made entirely in aluminium, a perimeter frame consisting of die cast aluminium spars with crossed reinforcement ribs. It has a solid upside-down fork, completely redesigned, and the rear suspension with monoshock secured to the asymmetrical swingarm. The braking system mounts a four-piston radial calliper on the front wheel, assisted by Bosch ABS, that grips a 300 mm diameter steel disc. On the rear, the new J.Juan calliper grips a 220 mm disc and has a tone wheel to guarantee anti roll over protection. The asymmetrical swingarm ensure the highest possible level of torsional rigidity, technology clearly derived from the racing world, that guarantees maximum performance and safety in every turn, a characteristic that the Tuono shares with it sister, the RS 125. It does not have an extreme riding position, thanks to the handlebar positioned to guarantee comfort and, at the same time, maximum control and complete control over the vehicle, rider footpegs designed not to fatigue the rider, rubber inserts on the rider and passenger footpegs to improve vibration damping. The tail fairing, another element that is closely derived from the Tuono 1100, mounts the practical passenger grab handles and provides a spacious, locking storage compartment.

NEW INSTRUMENTATION - Compact and ultra-lightweight, the instrument cluster provides all the functions of true racing instrumentation and now includes the ABS and OBD (on board diagnostic) indicator light. The analogue Rev. counter with a new carbon graphic completes the features, along with the multifunction digital display with handlebar controls for the speedometer, trip master, battery voltage, clock and stopwatch with memory for 20 laps, cooling circuit temperature indicator and fuel reserve indicator. The AMP ECU that enables connectivity between the bike and your smartphone is also available as an accessory, allowing the device to display an impressive amount of information on the screen. The 4-Stroke, 4-Valve engine has been confirmed and the Tuono 125 is installation ready for the optional Quick Shift feature.
