Just a few months before the new road enduro, the CRF1000L Africa Twin, arrives on the market, Honda has announced it will supply two bikes for the show “Riding Morocco: Chasing the Dakar”, being produced by the well-known National Geographic Channel. Riding the two sport-adventure bikes will be Australian model Laura Csortan and rally expert Christophe Barriere-Varju. The pair will have chance to cross Morocco, a country that has hosted the Paris-Dakar rally on more than one occasion, a competition that has, unfortunately, lost its roots considering that it is now held in South America.

During their trip, the two will be able to cross wonderful valleys and experience breath-taking views, meeting up with people along the way, making friends and sharing their experiences with those of different races and cultures. Basically, the pair will be able to show the television viewers what it means to embark on an adventure by bike. Christophe will have the bike with manual transmission, the standard bike so to speak, while Laura will use the model equipped with DCT that does not require use of the clutch. In Italy the first episode will air on 25 June at 7.55pm with part two being shown the day after at 1.25pm.
