VIDEO: The road to Laguna

Thursday, 21 July 2011 18:51 by Ernesto Emmi

This week the MotoGP circus moves to the legendary Laguna Seca circuit, for the last race before the summer break.

The US Grand Prix is a favorite amongst the riders; the only style track featuring corners which have seen many historic overtakes, with the most famous being the "corkscrew.'

To arrive at Laguna, you must first wind your way through the hills before entering the valley in which the circuit is located.

The mornings are always characterized by the fog which rolls in over the California Central Valley, which is a location often written about by John Steinbeck.

So while we wait for the action to begin on track, here is a video of the road leading up to the circuit.

Stay tuned.
