Iannone: two fractures in wrist
Thursday, 02 September 2010 22:40
A double fracture for Andrea Iannone: his crash at Indianapolis had more serious consequences than initially indicated. This afternoon, in the clinica mobile, an x-ray revealed a break in his left scaphoid, and another in his trapezoid. "I don't have any pain when I am resting, but as soon as you touch it I see stars," the Italian rider said. This is the condition (without knowing the extent of the injury, and without pain killers: their use limited by US regulations) in which he already raced at Indianapolis.
Tonight Andrea will be wearing a magnetotherapy device. “Then I will give it a try, tomorrow afternoon.”
