Toni Elias has a significant lead in the Moto2 standings, but Andrea Iannone (pictured here with ex racer, and his current team manager, Luca Boscoscuro) is still his closest and most threatening rival.

Indy was another case of the Italian taking home less points than he had the potential to score, so he is looking to the San Marino GP full of hope to turn things around and get back to winning.

“I will approach Misano with the spirit of a home GP – Andrea explained – I have not won a race since Assen, even if I have had several opportunities to do so, as something always went wrong for one reason or another.  It makes a difference because Elias has managed several difficult wins and I haven't.  Let's see what I can come up with at Misano, even if a lot depends on what condition Dr. Costa can have me riding in."
